The speakers

REMINDER: All the home cinema rooms in the world are equipped with high efficiency speakers with compression drivers and horns (contrary to a traditional home cinema speaker who is equipped with a hifi speaker for the sharp pitches)...

Logically, we have therefore opted for the technology of a “real” cinema for our realizations. We do not offer traditional home cinema, but rather the creation of a Private Cinema Room!

THE FRONT SPEAKERS

3 front speakers (left and right speakers for the stereo effects + the central speaker for all the dialogue)
The central speaker remains the most important, contrary to popular misconceptions, for this alone delivers about 80% of the soundtrack of the movie (the dialogues, etc.)
Certain home cinema room installations add 2 frontal speakers at the right/left horizontally (or vertically) in order to make the most of certain HD soundtracks

THE REAR SPEAKERS

Normally there are around 2 to 8, according to the dimensions of the home cinema room and the number of rows for the viewers.

The rear speakers are all placed laterally in relation to the viewers, the height, but also on the same rear wall when this is possible or wise.
They can either be the "on wall" type, that is to say on the wall and therefore visible, or they can be the “in wall” type built into the wall.
They use the same horn and compression drive technology as the front speakers, to harmonize the timbre of the sound as soon as that passes from one speaker to another, and from front to back.

DOLBY ATMOS 3D CEILING SPEAKERS

There are normally around 2 to 4 of them, according to the dimensions of the home cinema room and the number of rows for the views.

The Dolby Atmos 3D sound consists of installing speakers on a vertical plane, on the ceiling (while all the other cinema speakers will be installed on a horizontal plane). The objective is to obtain 3D sound effects. For example, if there is a scene with rain, it would give you the sensation that it is actually falling on your head (or a helicopter, missiles, etc…)
The Dolby Atmos 3D speakers are placed in the ceiling.
They will systematically be an “in ceiling” type, that is to say built into the ceiling making it completely concealed.
They use the same horn and compression drive technology as the front and rear speakers, to harmonize the timbre of the sound as soon as it passes from one speaker to another, and up and down.

THE SUBWOOFER
Indispensable in the Cinema configuration, the bass reinforcement allows to take advantage of the modern soundtrack throughout the dedicated bass channel. The subwoofer brings a real depth and real sensations during the explosions, gunfire and other loud moments of the film. It is there to make you jump out of your seat and is perfectly designed to effectively do so. The number of subwoofers is determined by the dimensions of the home cinema room, the positioning of the spectators, the acoustics of the cinema, the budget and the preferred usage (such as a preference of films over music)

THE "ALL IN ONE" BIO-SONIC WALL (WORLDWIDE CERTIFICATION)

The Bio-sonic wall is a very interesting alternative to replacing the front speakers and the subwoofers in a cinema installation.

It is a giant wall of speakers that is tailor-made to the dimensions of the home cinema room. It is posed in front of the frontal wall of the home cinema and integrates no less than eighteen 25cm loudspeakers (for the bass) + 3 horns and compression drivers for the left/ center/ right lanes. Certain models of bio-sonic walls can be up to sixty 25cm loudspeakers (imagine that quite often, a subwoofer often only has one 25cm loudspeaker in a classic installation, this is sixty times less…).

Only having a depth of 25cm (as opposed to twice this size for the installation with the home cinema speakers), the Bio-sonic wall takes up less place behind the acoustically transparent screen. It therefore enables the distance between the first row of viewers and the screen to be larger. It is then possible to install an even larger cinema screen (since the recoil is very important) than with the traditional cinema speakers.

The goal of this certification is for the sound to equally travel through all the volume of the room (contrary to a traditional subwoofer which has a wave that grows larger as it moves away).

Its sound reproduction is currently without a doubt the best of its kind. Imagine 18 or even 60 loudspeakers going off at the same time at the moment of an explosion in the movie. Whatever your listening position is in the home cinema room, the same sound wave goes through the whole cinema and procures the best experience and the sound restitution that you can get. The sound is precise, powerful, sharp, and doesn’t have any lag. The Bio-sonic wall is the best of the best and at this title it procures an unforgettable sound experience!
