What are the steps for the creation of a private cinema room?

The room:

It is imperative to use a room that is at least 25m2 for the creation of a cinema room in order so that it can hold 4 to 8 seats. There is always an available space to make a private cinema room: the attic, the basement, in an unoccupied room or even in a living room. VOTRE CINEMA will rapidly make a technical audit report of the chosen placement for you. Rest assured, the creation of a cinema room may be done in a room made of any type of material (plaster, brick, concrete and even in a wood cabin!). The acoustics:

The creation of high-end private cinema achieves a level of quality, in terms of sound and visuals, that is superior to a real cinema hall. One of the major preoccupations of the company VOTRE CINEMA is to bring special care to the acoustics of the cinema room. In fact, the acoustic treatment (the management of the sound in the interior of the cinema) represents in itself around 80% of the final sound effect. This is the most important point of all, however it is too often forgotten, or completely neglected!

This is done in order to simulate and identify, with the help of a powerful computerised tool, the acoustic incidents of the room and to propose adapted solutions.

The equipment:

The speakers: All cinema halls are equipped with high efficiency speakers with compression drivers and horns. This is not by chance! For the creation of a cinema room, VOTRE CINEMA uses the same sort of speakers for your project. You will have at your disposal a "genuine" cinema at your very own home!

The cinema screen: VOTRE CINEMA is know and renowned for being the European specialist of projection in the real panoramic cinema format… the famous 2.3:1 CINEMASCOPE! Your installation will be exceptional! No more black bands on the top and bottom of the screen that reduce the image of the film. For the creation of your cinema room you will have a veritable large and panoramic screen, sometimes slightly curved, of a basic dimension that is on average between 3m to 4m… Walk up the steps, close your eyes, you’re in Cannes! Finally, VOTRE CINEMA systematically installs a cinema screen equipped with an acoustically transparent screen, permitting the placement of the front speakers behind the screen. The sound goes through the image for a perfection fusion. Once again, the experience is unique!

The video projector: It must be perfectly adapted to the environment of your room, its orientation, its positioning, its silence, its brightness, its 4K resolution or its 3D projection. The VOTRE CINÉMA team advises you and guides you through this step, for an optimal vision comfort of your favourite major motion pictures. The audio and video sources? The VOTRE CINÉMA installations allow you to watch DVD or Blu-Ray but also television via satellite, TNT or Box, to play console games, plug in your PC or Mac, the video camera or even a digital camera (there’s nothing quite like watching family home movies or photos from your vacation!)

The furniture: For your creation of a private cinema room, VOTRE CINEMA offers you every comfort whether it be audio, video, decoration, acoustics, and more. Imagine yourself seated in a genuine electric cinema armchair, the starry fibre optic sky is twinkling, the light goes down, the film begins, and each moment of the film is felt thanks to a unique system of the armchairs. Home automation: a touch screen remote, both amusing and intuitive while being user friendly, enables the entire family to control with one simple click the entirety of the private cinema room. This includes all the lighting and the illuminated scenes, the projection format (16:9 or 2.35:1 CinemaScope), etc. You will be able to control your installation as if you were a proper projectionist in a cinema hall.
