PRIVATE CINEMA ROOM DEDICATED TO THE THEME OF BATMAN IN LYON, RHÔNE-ALPES (69)

This grand luxury private home cinema room perfectly respects the cinematic colour scheme, with an elegant pure wool red carpet as well as cinema seats and black acoustic panels. On the acoustic walls of the cinema we have included panels in grey and black brushed aluminium which are highlighted by frosted glass light fixtures (in order to avoid any luminous reflection coming from the screen). The client wanted the room to embody the theme of Batman, and therefore in addition to the colour scheme, we have also added a large realistic statue of the hero and a framed photo of him, which is in fact the split of the interior air conditioning.

This private home cinema room is made up of 9 black leather cinema armchairs, equipped with double motorisation (the backrest and footrest are separately managed, without forgetting the headrest which can be adjusted in height as well as in inclination to get in the perfect position during the projection of the film). Each seat is posed on vibrators that are synchronised with the soundtrack of the film, more particularly with the explosions, gunfire, and the bass in general. This gives the illusion that the entire private cinema room is trembling!

The acoustic treatment was rigorously studied in order to cover the totality of the cinema room from the floor to the ceiling. The acoustic treatment, representing 80% of the final sound result, is the link that is not to be neglected in such an installation. The bio-sonic Mach III wall, very impressive, was created tailor-made for the dimensions of the cinema room. A bio-sonic wall is a board of speakers composed of 21 loudspeakers including 3 horns with compression drivers for the high-pitched sounds. Situated behind the acoustically transparent screen, it is only 30cm deep and provides an incredible amount of power.

As for the screen, it is in CinemaScope format, equipped with an acoustically transparent fabric that is 4K transparent. The frame is fitted and its curve is backlit in order to highlight it. Regarding the image, it comes form an Ultra HD 4K video projector of the latest generation.
