Private Cinema Room - Megève - 45m²
PRIVATE CINEMA ROOM IN MEGÈVE, HAUTE-SAVOIE (34)
This luxurious private home cinema is located at the foot of the ski slopes in a prestigious chalet in Megève.
It’s in a warm and modern design that this 45 m2 cinema room has remarkable audio and video technology.
The client wanted to break the classic colour codes of a traditional Cinema, choosing a taupe carpet in pure wool, red alcantara cinema chairs with double motorisations and brushed copper wall panels. The private cinema is finely lit by indirect leds under the steps of the stage and the 2 waves of the stage, around the frame of the curved screen, without forgetting magnificent wall lamps with frosted glass (to avoid any light reflection from the screen).
Before our intervention, this raw room was used as a large storage and technical room. Many aesthetic constraints had to be taken into account, such as the presence of large ventilation ducts, which had to be hidden by creating formwork on 3 of the 4 walls. The dimensions of the room were not quite optimal for creating a cinema room, as it was too wide and not deep enough.
We solved the problem by installing a Biosonic Wall with 21 speakers behind the screen. With only 35cm depth, this allowed the screen to be placed further away from the audience and optimised the length of the room, which was a little short. Installing conventional cinema speakers and their subwoofers would have taken up 60cm of depth, with the result that the size of the screen had to be reduced.
Careful tapestry work on the air-conditioning soffits highlighted the 600 star acoustic ceiling.
The aesthetic success of this room doesn’t sacrifice the acoustic treatment of the room, quite the contrary. Our design office is able to analyze and process the behavior of sound, in order to make the sound perfectly intelligible and precise, regardless of the choice of seat by the spectators in the private home cinema room.
We installed 4 rear speakers, totally invisible, in our acoustic walls, 4 ceiling speakers for Dolby Atmos and the famous Biosonic Wall behind the transonic screen, an impressive 7.12.4 audio configuration.
A Sony 4K laser video-projector projects its 8 million pixels and 2200 lumens onto the curved acousticaly transparent screen in CinemaScope format, with a 400cm image base.
Immersion guaranteed!
All the seats are equipped with our famous patented actuators, which give the impression that the chalet is shaking during explosions in the film, or the arrival of monsters of all kinds! They simply reproduce reality !
It is now difficult for our customer to choose between going down the ski slopes andwatching movies...
